1. Which of the 10 declarations of The Mindful CIO Manifesto resonate the most with you? Why?
Declaration number one, making the IT industry more human. It’s important at all times, and critically important right now.

2. What is your #1 Strategy (or Ritual) for Self-Care?
I sit on a few boards and do a lot of advisory and mentoring work, so sometimes self-care can be difficult. I always try and take time out in the morning to go for a walk and clear my head.

3. What Mindful Leadership means to you?
To me, mindful leadership is all about managing your ego and biases and striving to do what is right, what needs to be done.

4. Why do you think The Mindful CIO movement is important? In other words, why have you accepted to become a Champion of this community?
Because “hard skills” can only take you so far, and the pace of change requires a much more human focus.
