1. Which of the 10 declarations of The Mindful CIO Manifesto resonate the most with you?
#6 – We Respect Healthy Boundaries

2. Please elaborate on why do you identify the most with this declaration.
All the declarations are incredibly relevant however if I had to choose one then #6 – We Respect Healthy Boundaries would be my pick. To me that is at the heart of everything we do – as IT professionals and leaders in teams. Healthy boundaries should be limited as to how we role model work and life for our people and support their approach, but is at the core of so much of tech; it is the ethical use of IT, creating positive impact to our communities through better reach and equitable access to technology and importantly how we show up as a profession to encourage greater participation in tech.

3. What is your #1 Strategy (or Ritual) for Self-Care?
Walking everyday and listening to books.

4. What does Mindful Leadership mean to you?
Being aware of others and self. Understanding the impact we can have in the way we show up and the words that we share. Making the space a little better because you were there.

5. Why do you think The Mindful CIO movement is important? In other words, why have you accepted to become a Champion of this community?
We have a responsibility to our peers, communities, and the people we serve to ensure that technology is used for the betterment of society. We need to role model and shape the reach and equitable access to technology so that everyone can have a healthier happier life.
